Shanks’ pony for Massone

LiviNews understands that Livingston FC Chairman, Angelo Massone, has had his car pounded after almost three dozen parking tickets were allowed to accumulate on its windscreen as it sat, apparently abandoned, in an Edinburgh Street.

Massone’s vehicle was picked up, placed on the back of a motor removals van and taken to a city car compound, where it will sit unless he coughs up an estimated two and a half thousand pound bill to cover the parking tickets, the removal of the vehicle and the compound charge.

This latest embarresment for Livingstons Italian owner comes hot on the heels of his astonishing claims on BBC Scotland that he deliberately allowed the electricity to be cut off at Almondvale Stadium to teach the fans and wider West Lothian community a lesson.

Also, the perilous financial situation at the club has possibly just gotten worse as it’s rumoured that as the clubs main sponsor ‘RDF’ have decided to pull out of Livingston altogether

Supporters of the club, who are increasingly fed up with Massone and his mad cap behaviour, have organised a supporters rally which will be held outside Almondvale Stadium this coming Friday from 6.30pm onwards.
