Fans’ to meet Livi owners
Livi fans are due to meet with the new club owners on Tuesday 9th December @ 7.30pm in Almondvale Suite. The meeting has been organised by LIVI for LIFE Supporters’ Trust.
The meeting has been arranged after supporters became increasingly worried about recent press speculation that the club were in financial difficulty, with the board of Livingston FC repeatedly denying that they are in financial turmoil.
Tuesday’s meeting could provide the assurances that the Livi fans’ are looking for.

I’m actually really looking forward to this meeting. I hope some of the many folk who are allegedly owed money are in attendance and ask the board for their money. Latest rumour I heard was that some of the players might get made homeless before Xmas unless Livi stump up cash owed to the players landlords.

I think that it will just be the usual fans who turn up and that they’ll not ask any awkward questions, cos they never do. I’m afraid that it’ll be a smoke and mirrors exercise from the board and the Livi faithful will lap it up.

Lets hope the Livi fans can fill the Almondvale Suite. We need to be taking the Board to task on its spending at the club, but at the same time, we have to listen to what they have to say.
Will LiviNews have an update of the meeting afterwards??

Well now that information about this meeting has gone up on the main Livi site, it seems that the board will be there after all. I had a sneaky feeling that they were not going to turn up. It would have been open season if that had happened. It’ll certainly be interesting if a few of the folk owed money turn up and demand payment. Wouldn’t miss this for the world!

If anyone thinks the board will just sit there and let folk shout the odds at them, then they must live in cloud cuckoo land. There is no way that they’ll discuss anything with anyone who claims that they are owed money, and quite right too! It’s neither the time nor the place at a fans meeting for that kind of private discussion.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they have a team of heavies on the door specifically to throw out anyone they think will ask awkward questions. ie. if your owed money, you aint getting in.
